SENATE BILL NO. 20 "An Act relating to recognition of certificates                                                              
of out-of-state teachers" was read the second time.                                                                             
                                                                                                                                
Senator Bishop, Cochair, moved and asked unanimous consent for the                                                              
adoption of the Finance Committee Substitute offered on page 790.                                                               
Senator Begich objected, then withdrew his objection. There being no                                                            
further objection, CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 20(FIN) "An Act                                                                       
relating to teaching certificates for teachers holding out-of-state                                                             
certificates" was adopted.                                                                                                      
                                                                                                                                
President Micciche stated CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 20(FIN) will                                                                   
advance to third reading on the May 3 calendar.
